Ham and Cheese Biscuit Bake (Bubble Up Recipe)

I found this recipe over at Plain Chicken. Steph has great recipes and I just LOVE them! This is another bubble up recipe. The bubble up recipes begin with Grand's canned Biscuits and then adds some type of topping. As the dish bakes, the biscuits rise and bubble up through the filling. This one looks really good. I think it would be tempting with bacon or sausage as well.

serves 6

1 can Grands Jr. flaky biscuits (10 biscuits)
8 oz diced ham
1 cup grated swiss cheese
2 tbsp honey mustard dressing
3 eggs
2/3 cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
Separate biscuits and cut into quarters.
Place biscuits in bottom of pan.
Top with ham and swiss cheese.
Whisk together eggs, honey mustard and heavy cream.
Pour over biscuits.
Top with parmesan cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.

One of the comments on the original site says:
I used bacon and monterey jack cheese instead of ham and used mustard powder and onion granules to give it flavor. My kids don't like prepared mustard.
It tasted great! Thanks!
Another commenter said: we don't care for the honey mustard. i was thinking maybe a sprinkle of chives and/or playing around with the cheese- maybe a bit of pepper jack
